MEP Christian Ehler enlists lobbyists to back his move in ‘final days’ of budget talks
MEP Christian Ehler is rallying pro-R&D lobby groups in support of a final push to raise the budget of the EU’s next research programme by €10 billion.
Ehler—one of two lead MEPs for the 2021-27 EU R&D programme, Horizon Europe—is pushing his centre-right European People’s Party to propose the increase during negotiations with the Council of the EU that began on 9 November.
