Pharma industry plus aviation and hydrogen partnerships positive on Commission proposals
Industry-focused collaborative R&D partnerships that receive funding from the EU have welcomed European Commission plans for similar initiatives to be continued in the bloc’s 2021-27 R&D programme, Horizon Europe.
Plans for ten ‘institutionalised European partnerships’—one of three kinds of public-public and public-private partnerships being funded under Horizon Europe—were presented by the Commission on 23 February. Institutionalised partnerships are implemented through dedicated legal structures created for the purpose, unlike co-programmed and co-funded partnerships.
