Purported draft texts spark positivity about project impacts but fears over funding rates
R&D representatives have welcomed a heightened focus on the impact of research projects in documents circulating online that appear to be draft work programmes for the EU’s 2021-27 R&D programme, Horizon Europe.
The Commission declined to comment on the authenticity of the documents, which outline funding allocation and implementation plans for Horizon Europe. But their uncertain provenance has not stopped R&D leaders scouring them for clues.
