Over €13 billion of investments will focus on sustainability, digitisation, pandemic recovery and security
The European Commission has sketched out how it is planning to spend about €13.5 billion across large parts of the EU’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme in 2023-24.
Draft work programmes for the period published this week set out that spending will be directed towards current political priorities, including sustainability, digitisation, recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic, and security concerns stemming from Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
