Initial rate is significantly higher than for predecessor EU R&D programme, Horizon 2020
Early applications for funding from Horizon Europe, the EU’s €95.5 billion 2021-27 research and innovation programme, have had a success rate of 17.3 per cent, according to a new analysis.
This figure is much higher than the 11.9 per cent overall success rate for applications from the predecessor programme, Horizon 2020, although the data on Horizon Europe are from a much narrower range of funding calls.
