EU renews Mediterranean research partnership

Collaboration between EU and neighbouring Mediterranean countries will continue until 2027

A research partnership between EU member states and neighbouring countries around the Mediterranean, which was set to end next year, has been renewed up until 2027.

The Council of the EU and the European Parliament announced an agreement on 13 December that researchers across 20 collaborating countries will be able to apply for funding calls until the end of the current EU financial framework.
