Research groups have widespread concerns about the EU’s flagship R&D programme

Research organisations are pushing for substantial changes to the EU’s research and innovation programme, complaining that it is currently imbalanced, over-complicated and subject to political whims.

Groups from across the sector have outlined their views on the €95.5 billion 2021-27 Horizon Europe programme in a European Commission consultation on its final years and the design of its successor.
