New Zealand to put €19m into Horizon Europe

                  

Agreement details financial contributions of first far-flung country expected to join EU R&D programme

New Zealand will contribute almost €19 million to the budget of Horizon Europe between 2023 and 2027, according to a provisional agreement between the country and the EU.

A deal struck last December means that New Zealand should be the first country outside the European near neighbourhood to secure association to the EU’s €95.5 billion research and innovation programme.
