Novelty of European Partnerships causes “heavy” administrative workload, survey finds

Personnel shortages are hindering countries’ involvement in EU-backed public-public and public-private research and innovation partnerships, a survey has found.

European Partnerships are an important tool of the EU’s 2021-27 R&I funding programme, Horizon Europe, combining public and private funding with in-kind contributions to tackle challenges such as medicine development and climate change.
