Speakers including research commissioner suggest how EU can better bridge innovation ‘valley of death’
Europe needs to change its funding for research and innovation to better link the two in converting research findings into economic benefits, according to a high-ranking panel at the World Economic Forum.
In a session on the subject today at the WEF in Davos, Switzerland, EU R&I commissioner Iliana Ivanova (pictured centre right) said: “We have to look at how much we invest in R&I in Europe.”
