FP10 should provide longer-term funding, says university group

Young European Research Universities Network sets out its “research-first” priorities for next EU R&D programme

The EU’s next research and innovation programme should provide longer-term funding than the current iteration, a university group has said.

In a paper published on 10 April, the Young European Research Universities Network said the “project mentality” of the current programme “may distort approaches to tackling long-term needs in addressing global challenges”.
