EU R&D programme given €1.4 billion “increase” for this year
“Experimental actions to attract newcomers” have been added to the 2024 budget plan for Horizon Europe, the EU’s research and innovation programme.
The move was part of a broader set of changes announced by the European Commission on 17 April, which it said have increased the 2024 budget for the programme by almost €1.4 billion to €7.3bn.
