European University Association wants next EU R&D programme to be “more than a funding mechanism”
The EU should use its next research and innovation funding programme to secure European leadership in R&I, the European University Association has urged.
Currently in the early stages of its design, the successor to the €93.5 billion 2021-27 R&I programme, known as Framework Programme 10, “must be more than a funding mechanism”, EUA board member Astrid Söderbergh Widding said, as the association published a vision paper for FP10 on 8 April.
