The European branch of the Research Data Alliance, a global infrastructure network, is launching four additional national nodes to help it achieve its aims.
Nodes for the alliance will start up in Austria, Denmark, Portugal and Slovenia, the RDA announced on 20 December. They will join nine existing European nodes in Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK.
Austria’s data node will focus on practical dissemination projects and will look beyond academia to also involve public and industry data centres, funders and politicians, the RDA said.
