Advisers sought for science cloud

The European Commission is looking for people from universities and other research organisations to sit on the board of the forthcoming European Open Science Cloud.

The executive board will be one of three governing bodies for Eosc, a data portal intended to help researchers share and analyse research data from 2020 onwards. It will sit alongside a governance board comprised of representatives of member states and the Commission, and a stakeholder forum.

Members will help the Commission with the first phase of Eosc’s development, up to the end of 2020. This will include providing advice on strategy for the cloud and rules for using it.
