Early-career researchers to monitor effects of Plan S

Global Young Academy working with funders to evaluate controversial open-access initiative

A task force to monitor and evaluate the controversial open-access initiative Plan S is being set up by the Global Young Academy, an association of early-career researchers.

The task force is backed by Coalition S, the group of funders implementing Plan S, who will work with the academy on the task force’s formation and activities.
