Tussle to host research coordination centre to hinge on presence of relevant organisations
The host city of a planned European Cybersecurity Industrial, Technology and Research Competence Centre will be decided partly based on the presence of existing cybersecurity organisations in the vicinity, criteria for the decision published by the German presidency of the Council of the EU on 29 October have revealed.
The centre is being set up to coordinate a network of national centres, with overarching aims including provision of support for cybersecurity research and innovation as well as the development of relevant standards.
