UK-based company F1000 will build and maintain open-access outlet for EU grantees
The London-based publisher F1000 Research has won a competition to build a free-to-use open-access publishing platform for researchers funded by the EU’s R&D programmes.
Anyone who holds a grant from the EU’s current Horizon 2020 or future Horizon Europe programmes will be invited to use the platform, provisionally called Open Research Europe, which will offer open peer-review and post-publication curation led by a scientific advisory board.
