French fund provides €450,000 for open-science infrastructure

Funding will support the growth of three initiatives

The French National Fund for Open Science has announced funding of €450,000 to be shared by three international open-science infrastructures.

Open Citations, which is based at the University of Bologna in Italy and aims to share bibliographic and citation metadata, will receive €250,000, the fund said on 10 March. The money will be used to strengthen its computational infrastructure, employ software engineers and improve community engagement.
