Authors will not need to cover open-access charge
The EU’s open-access publishing platform Open Research Europe will levy a €780 article processing charge, the European Commission has revealed.
The Commission said on its website that the APC will be “paid centrally by the Commission, so the authors do not need to find the funds to cover the costs themselves during or after the end of their grants”.
