Horizon 2020-funded scoping project is trying to pin down governments’ encrypted telecom needs

EU governmental bodies that run security-related operations and infrastructures have been asked what they want out of the bloc’s planned encrypted satellite communication network.

The survey is part of a project called Entrusted, funded by the EU’s 2014-20 R&D programme, Horizon 2020. Only organisations likely to be users of the planned Govsatcom network will be invited to complete the full questionnaire.
