European Space Agency outlines steps to improve diversity

Agency aims to ensure 40 per cent of its new recruits are women by 2025

The European Space Agency has outlined eight steps to improve diversity, including increasing its recruitment of women.

At present only 29 per cent of Esa staff are women, the agency said on 6 October. It said the share had risen over the past five years, but that the trend needs to be sustained.
