Some researchers are still unconvinced about publishing on the European Commission’s open platform
A lot has been riding on the European Commission’s open-access publishing platform Open Research Europe since it launched in March last year.
The Commission promised that ORE would be a great opportunity for researchers, helping them to avoid the “major difficulties” they can face in getting their results published—including “delays and barriers to the reuse of results” and “high costs” for the privilege of publishing.
