Institute Laue-Langevin programme leader Giovanna Fragento to take on role

The European Spallation Source, an international particle accelerator research facility under construction in Lund, Sweden, has appointed a new science director, Giovanna Fragneto.

Fragneto has more than 25 years of experience in neutron science and has led several programmes and initiatives at another international neutron research centre—the Institut Laue-Langevin in France.
