The European Molecular Biology Organisation (Embo) will launch a publishing system on 15 December, which is aimed at making its publishing process more transparent and simplify access to data.
The Embo Press system, a website that brings Embo data and published material together, will be used to further develop the organisation’s existing publications, including Embo Journal, Embo reports, Molecular Systems Biology and Embo Molecular Medicine.
“Embo Press will allow Embo to continue our commitment to the principles of transparent, fast and fair publication in the life sciences while maintaining our reputation for selectivity and quality,” said Bernd Pulverer, head of Embo scientific publications.
