Luxembourg has signed its first deal with the European Investment Fund to allow its small businesses to obtain loans under Horizon 2020’s InnovFin programme.
The agreement was signed between the ING bank and the EIF and will provide small and medium-sized companies in Luxembourg with guaranteed loans for a total of €50m over the next two years.
The loans are part of the InnovFin SME Guarantee Facility, which guarantees loans of between €25,000 and €7.5m.
