The European Association of Research and Technology Organisations has announced plans to work with the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre on issues including science advice and smart specialisation.
Earto and the JRC signed a memorandum of understanding on 23 June in Brussels, agreeing to cooperate on science advice, smart specialisation, technology transfer, the management of research facilities, data collection, and standardisation.
The plan continues previous work between the two organisations, which focused on the development of the European Technology Transfer Offices circle—an initiative to connect technology transfer offices in institutions and speed up the commercialisation of research.
