Copernicus helpdesk launched

The European Commission has opened a support office to help the users of data from Copernicus, the EU’s Earth observation programme.

The office, whose launch was announced on 21 July, is part of a set of tools that the Commission is developing to improve the use of data from the Copernicus programme.

It will support the Copernicus Relays, which are networks that promote Copernicus at the local and regional levels, and the Copernicus Academy, which is a group of universities and small businesses that are training their students and workforces in related fields. Both were launched by the Commission to help increase the number of European businesses using space-related technologies.
