Details of manufacturing and urban mobility initiatives unveiled

The European Institute of Innovation and Technology has published its evaluation criteria for funding knowledge and innovation communities on manufacturing and urban mobility.

EIT Manufacturing is intended to strengthen Europe’s manufacturing industry, while EIT Urban Mobility should facilitate the development of smart, green and integrated urban transport. Yesterday the EIT set out the exact requirements that proposals will need to meet.

To be eligible, proposals must include at least three different organisations in three EU countries, one of which must be a higher education institution and one a private company. Consortia will be able to include a maximum of 50 partners.
