The Innovative Medicines Initiative has launched two calls worth €130 million for research proposals into topics including neurological diseases, drug screening and drug delivery.
The EU-backed public-private partnership launched the calls for proposals today. Topics include making data from IMI projects more reusable, using technology to track the effectiveness of treatments for Alzheimer’s disease, and a vaccination programme for older people.
Around half of the €130m will come from Horizon 2020, with the other half from the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations and IMI industry partners.
