Innovation leaders wanted

The European Institute of Innovation and Technology is looking for five people to join its governing board.

The EIT launched a call for expressions of interest for joining its governing board on 3 August. The board is an independent body responsible for providing strategic leadership for the EIT, including selecting and evaluating its Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs).

A steering committee made up of existing board members and an observer from the European Commission will draw up a list of potential candidates, who must apply by 29 September. This will then be submitted to the Commission, which will select five new board members in the first half of next year.
