Cosme, the EU funding programme for small and medium-sized enterprises, has launched a call for proposals aimed at consortia working in defence and security.
The launch, which was announced by the European Defence Agency on 19 September, represents the first time that a Cosme call has been aimed specifically at defence-related businesses.
Grants will support consortia of at least three organisations from three different EU member states, at least one of which must be defence-related. They will support the development of technologies, products and services with “dual-use” potential, meaning that they could have both military and civilian applications.
