The EU-backed Graphene Flagship, a €1-billion endeavour to get graphene-based products to market, is “well on track”, its director Jari Kinaret has said.
A review of the flagship presented by the European Commission over the summer found that it is on course to meet its “ambitious” goals, Kinaret said in a statement published on 1 October.
The statement said the flagship’s output has been “quite formidable”. The flagship’s 145 partners across 21 countries have published 2,400 papers, been granted 25 patents and launched 43 products since the flagship launched in 2013, it said.
