The European Commission is looking for organisations to advise it on the EU’s ten-year, billion-euro flagship initiative to accelerate research into quantum technologies.
The Quantum Flagship, which is partly funded by the EU’s R&D programme, will officially launch at the end of this month. On 19 October, the Commission, which is ultimately responsible for the flagship, opened a call for applications for organisation partners to help guide it.
Successful applicants will sit on a strategic advisory board and provide advice for strategic decision-making. The board will be in charge of preparing and updating the flagship’s strategic research agenda, monitoring its progress and reporting back to funders, including the Commission and national governments.
