EU will also present proposals for World Health Organization reform
A scientific advisory board for the World Health Organization’s recently established Pan-European Commission on Health and Sustainable Development will meet for the first time on 6 November, kicking off its role in helping the commission rethink policy priorities using insights from countries’ handling of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The board will “bring together scientific experts from the region to establish the evidence base and to present priorities and policy options” on health and social care for consideration, the WHO said in a summary of a virtual meeting of the commission that took place on 27 October.
