Austria, Bulgaria, Denmark and Romania join 20 countries already participating
Four more EU member states have joined the bloc’s quantum communications infrastructure initiative, which is intended to boost European capabilities in quantum technologies and cybersecurity.
Officials from Austria, Bulgaria, Denmark and Romania signed the EuroQCI declaration on the initiative on 27 February. These countries joined 20 other European participants, seven of which signed up in June 2019 when the initiative was launched.
