Research and technology association leader Muriel Attané’s plans won’t be derailed by the coronavirus pandemic

The European Association of Research and Technology Organisations was hoping to consider the role of technology and research in the EU’s European Green Deal at its annual conference in Barcelona this month. But the meeting has become another event cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak. 

“We were aiming on discussing that during the conference—we won’t be able to do that now, but we’re still keeping up our work around it,” Earto’s stoically determined secretary general Muriel Attané (pictured) tells Research Europe days after announcing the cancellation.
