Hopes pinned on proposed innovation hub at European Defence Agency to remedy sluggish R&D efforts
Europe is “stagnating” in its defence innovation compared with other global powers, according to Jiří Šedivý, chief executive of the European Defence Agency.
Speaking at the EDA’s annual conference on 7 December, Šedivý (pictured left) said: “Either we innovate in defence or we will become defence irrelevant.”
