Africa-EU research and innovation cooperation group launched

Advisory panel will run for six months and produce four reports with bridge-building recommendations

The European Commission has set up a six-person advisory group to guide EU research and innovation cooperation efforts with African countries.

The group is tasked with writing four evidence-based policy papers, on public health systems; research and innovation capacities in Africa; innovation and the “technology revolution”; and environmental sustainability in Africa.
