“Not very clear if and how” Commission’s intention to open up partnerships will be realised
The European Economic and Social Committee, an EU advisory body representing civil society, has said that it is not convinced the next iterations of the EU R&D programme’s biggest public-private partnerships will be open enough.
The EESC set out its concerns on 15 June in an opinion about the Joint Undertakings—the ‘institutionalised’ partnerships that are the biggest of the three types of public-public and public-private R&D partnerships that will be funded under the Horizon Europe programme.
