Observatory on patents and tech launched to boost innovation

           

European Patent Office says observatory will enable anyone to quantify and track trends

The European Patent Office has opened an Observatory on Patents and Technology that it expects to stimulate innovation and improve decision-making around it.

Launched on  6 October, the observatory should be a “first port of call for anyone interested in the future of innovation”, the EPO said, helping them to “quantify and explore trends and challenges throughout the innovation ecosystem”.
