EU medicines regulators launch resources for real-world data

Catalogues of data sources and studies intended to speed delivery of medicines to patients

Medicines regulators from across the EU have launched resources for researchers and other groups to make more use of real-world health data in their work.

Real-world data is collected from people outside of the controlled environment of clinical trials, and is expected to broaden and complement the information obtained from formal studies in the conduct of research and evaluation of potential treatments.
