EU funding should be directed more strategically, says Breton

Internal market commissioner says EU should prioritise the most important industrial and technological investments

EU funding should be directed more strategically to focus on key technologies, internal market commissioner Thierry Breton has said.

In a post on the social media platform LinkedIn on 15 April, Breton said that the EU must reward excellence and support innovation in strategic technologies to increase its industrial competitiveness.
