Success rate of 4 per cent “is not sustainable”, say innovation consultants
The European Innovation Council’s Accelerator scheme should be refocused due to its low success rates, a group of consultants who advise applicants to the scheme has said.
The EIC is a part of the EU’s research and innovation funding programme focused on supporting the development of breakthrough technologies and their commercialisation. Its Accelerator instrument uses a mixture of grants and direct equity-based investment to support the growth of companies based on such technologies.
