Support announced for companies investing in R&D

The enterprise minister, Richard Bruton, has welcomed “pro-jobs” aspects of the 2012 budget announced by the Minister for Finance, Michael Noonan.

The budget included a series of measures to make it less expensive and easier for companies to develop R&D activities, and also to tap into export markets. They were contained in annual budgetary details released on 6 December.
