Praise for departing science adviser

Patrick Cunningham stepped down as the government’s chief scientific adviser on 31 August after more than five years in office.

Enterprise minister Richard Bruton praised Cunningham’s contribution. One of his greatest accomplishments was bringing the EuroScience Open Forum meeting to Dublin last July.
