‘Junior Nobel prize’ opens for undergraduates

Entries are encouraged for the 2013 Undergraduate Awards, an international competition to select the top undergraduates from 100 leading international universities, based on submitted course work.

Begun in 2008 by two Trinity College Dublin graduates, it is known as the Irish Junior Nobel Prize by its promoters. The president of Ireland, Michael D Higgins, is patron, and the 2013 programme was launched on 16 January.
