Irish firm agrees ESA project worth €800,000

Irish company TreeMetrics has won an €800,000 European Space Agency contract for research into forestry measurement and data analysis.

It will allow the company to roll out its forestry satellite mapping application and to recruit 10 software engineers over the coming year, increasing employment at its Cork headquarters to 30.
