University launches centre for ‘cleantech’ research

Dublin City University has announced the opening of the Cleantech Innovation Campus, a centre for research and industry collaboration to address issues related to water quality, waste handling, energy and industrial emissions.

The centre will be based in a vacant Enterprise Ireland building adjacent to the campus, the university said on 21 January. It will support start-up companies and firms seeking to develop products or services in the sector in collaboration with academic researchers.
