Government invests in data analytics research

Ireland’s government is putting €1 million into a research centre for the study of data analytics.

The Centre for Applied Data Analytics Research will be led by University College Dublin, and include University College Cork and Dublin Institute of Technology, as well as a wide range of firms with an involvement in data analytics such as eBay, HP and Accenture.
